Office Policies for SARS-CoV-2 Transmission Prevention

November 1, 2020

Child Counseling Place will continue to follow guidelines issued by the Hamilton County & State Health Departments and the CDC in regards to SARS-CoV-2 (novel coronavirus) precautions.

Patients
Please follow these guidelines when entering the office:

  • Do not come into the office if you, a household member, or anyone attending your appointment has
    • Had a fever in the last 14 days (check your temperature before your appointment);
    • Tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days

  • Please wait in your vehicle or outside of the GOJI building until the time of your appointment. You may enter the building at the time of your appointment and wait in the waiting room until your provider is ready.

  • Please limit the number of people you bring to your appointment.
    • We understand not all families are able to have child care for other children during appointment times. If you are unable to secure child care, please let your provider know in advance.
    • Our office no longer has snacks and drinks for patients, so please bring your own food and beverage if you think you will need that during your appointment time.

  •  Please wear a mask inside the office.

  • Please notify CCP if you or anyone in your household tests positive for COVID-19 and you have been in contact with CCP staff within 14 days of the COVID-19 diagnosis.

You acknowledge your increased risk of exposure to SARS-CoV-2 by choosing to enter the GOJI building.

Staff
CCP staff will sanitize the office, waiting areas, and bathrooms.

CCP staff will wear face masks and/or face shields during appointments.

CCP staff will not keep in-office appointments if they or a household member has
  • Had a fever in the last 14 days;
  • Tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days

If a CCP staff member tests positive for COVID-19 and has been in contact with a patient within 14 days of the COVID-19 diagnosis, CCP will inform that patient.

If you have concerns or questions about this information, please speak with your provider and/or the office administrative assistant.
