When using insurance benefits (Caresource, United Healthcare, etc.), counseling sessions are no longer than 45 minutes except for intake/initial sessions or extenuating circumstances.
Self-pay sessions offer more flexibility in session times because times are not dictated by insurance companies. These sessions may range from 30 - 90 minutes as needed by the individual.
Child Counseling Place accepts cash, checks or credit cards, and is contracted with some insurance companies. Please check with your insurance company prior to your appointment. CCP does not keep cash on site and cannot make change for cash received over the amount of the fee charged. Any cash overage will be applied to the next session or refunded by check in the event additional sessions are not scheduled.
Payment is expected at time of service.
Child Counseling Place is not an emergency center and does not handle mental health emergencies outside of scheduled appointment times.
